High Command Roofing - Terms and Conditions
Scope of Work
High Command Roofing (the "Contractor") will provide roofing services as outlined in the project proposal. These services are primarily residential, though commercial repairs may be performed as needed.
Payment Terms
A 50% down payment is required prior to the purchase of materials. The remaining balance is due upon project completion. Accepted payment methods include check, ACH transfer, or other agreed forms.
Cancellation Policy
For projects $6,000 and under, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
For projects over $6,000, a 12% cancellation fee applies.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. If materials have been purchased, the customer is responsible for those costs. The Contractor will make every reasonable effort to return unused materials to the supplier, provided they are unopened. Refunds from the supplier are subject to their return policy, which may delay reimbursement. All approved refunds will be processed within 30 days; however, receipt of funds may take up to three weeks or more.
Material Purchases
If materials are purchased prior to project commencement or cancellation, the customer remains responsible for those costs. The Contractor will make every reasonable effort to return unused materials to the supplier, provided they are unopened and unused. Any refund is subject to the supplier’s return policy, which may extend the reimbursement timeline. The customer will be invoiced for any materials not refunded.
Warranties
The Contractor provides a 10-year workmanship warranty on all full roof replacements and a 2-year workmanship warranty on all repairs. These warranties cover defects due to faulty installation. They do not cover damage from extreme weather, misuse, or other external factors.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will first be resolved via direct negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in [your state]. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial.
Liability
The Contractor’s liability is limited to the total contract price. The Contractor is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state]. Any legal action must be initiated in this jurisdiction.
